But joking aside, anyone who has read the stoic philosophers could have had that idea. The beneifts of a good liberal education are ideas (and lots of 'em).

When X expressed this sentiment last week, he was pounced upon by several here.

X expressed quite a different sentiment. Hitch is saying that we should not make a big thing out of the anniversaries of 9/11; X said that we should not have made a big thing out of the original attack.
