Hi Lizzie,

Re: There is no need to turn this into a class issue.

I think Warren Buffett has a marvelous sense of humor. When asked by the media to comment on the latest round of tax cuts, he quipped, "well, if this is class warfare, it looks like my class is winning."

Unfortunately for the majority of us, it does seem that there is a element of socio-economic class distinction in most corporate maneuvering and tax policy legislation (two sides of the same coin?).

The CEOs, Ad Council, Business Roundtable and national Chamber of Commerce folks seem to have total control of the economy and the reigns of the national government today. And they are attempting to create a future that rewards their own greed, while becoming heartless w/r/t communities and their own workers.

Americans need to wake up. How can we be asked to spend $87 Billion more on Bush's folly in Iraq, while our own infrastructure falls further and further into disrepair and the very essence of national security as conceived in the Homeland Security mission statement is ruthlessly starved of funding?

The Bush priorities simply no longer make any sense at all for the vast preponderance of Americans.
