Re: Duty, Honor, Country?

Nice thoughts. But when the growing evidence points to Bush being engaged in criminal cronyism, appeals to patriotism grow increasingly irrelevant to what is actually going on in Iraq.

Duty, Honor, Country?

A leader leads by example. Where was Bush's love of duty, honor and country when he went into Iraq without clear forethought and planning? When he thoughtlessly risked the lives of our troops and the fiscal well being of the US? When he manipulated the truth in order to make the need for war very compelling?

When this war is over it is estmated we will have paid out close to a 1/2 trillion dollars for Bush's on-the-job training. Thats a huge sum of money; just his current request of $87 billion is 4% of next year's federal budget and is greater than the national budget of New Zealand. Where I come from that kind of gross misstep should get a person fired!
