Bush neocons shattered the friendship with the Europeans from the beginning, from the time of his first trip to Europe after taking power, when he treated them arrogantly, bullying them and ordering them to follow his right-wing hardliner positions or else. Don't expect to make any friends that way. Now Bush is hat in hand back to the europeans. Don't expect them to reward him. They'll wait until we get a new president. Strangely, Tony Blir went along with Bush. He was the only one. To this day, few people understand why as Blair is a liberal.
