With all due respect Lizzie, from your previous postings I would guess that you are the spoiled one, expecting the boom to last forever, which of course was an unrealistic expectation.

Iraq will get better, and this is a great step in the right direction:

Incumbent Presidents typically try to ramp the economy into the election. There's a whole year to go for that.

The multiplier effect from investments in rebuilding Iraq may pay off very much more than expected.
