Absolutely. Unilateralism breeds isolation. We have seen what unilateralism can do -- it brought us WW2, when the "axis" unilaterally invaded neighboring countries in their respective regions of the world. Civilization abhors unilateralism. The UN was created to prevent it. We adopted it as our foreign policy and then said we were "shocked" by UN refusal to support it.
