Tech support?

HP's tech support seems to have moved to India. I've been dealing with them for the last week or so and based upon my experience with them, it'll be a cold day in hell before I buy another HP product.

Actually, I couldn't care less if tech support is located in Botswana or the South Pole, as long as the support staff is semi-intelligent, competent and can speak and understand some semblance of American English...

I've been away from there for 3 years, although I hear from old friends from time to time. All sections of the company are being cut. Mostly phone service & order processing, but they have also closed many of the manufacturing plants (sending them to China and Malasya), and now their documentation efforts. I think all that will be left soon will be advertising.
