Oh, I don't think a large position hold that view. I simply stated it as my view, Michael. I don't get to my views by checking around to see how many respondents in national polls hold them. I'm not a politician so don't have to worry about it.

And it's hardly "vile," it's rather a judgment. It's not based on "anger" but happens to be based on his many, many failures. And his political positions.

As for not continuing the Marshall discussion, if you think that conversation was going anywhere, you certainly misread it. I repeat. You need to widen your views as to what constitutes serious political analysis. Marshall is serious, well informed, and mildly provocative. You disagree with his positions. Fine. Takes that kind of thing to make political conversations. But you've advanced zero evidence for your views.

So, for anyone reading these posts, trying to decide whether Marshall is right or Michael is right, they can go back and read Marshall's long sequence of posts to see the full complement of his views, argued, almost endlessly, documented, well beyond any criteria anyone could advance. And then there's Michael. One post.
