Actually, you are mistaken. I like Roosevelt, and, in fact, think he should be credited for saving us from a grave political crisis domestically, and from a grave international crisis ultimately. I am merely pointing out that the criteria used against Bush are ludicrous. Unemployment was much, much higher under Roosevelt; he went years with growth that did not cut into unemployment adequately; he had a couple of recessions of his own; and he pulled the rest of the country into the world war, especially through Lend- Lease.......
