Starting in October, we are going to be required to get a copy of the client's drivers license before we can open an account. If we open an account and no driver's license in 2 weeks, it closes automatically. I am thinking this may be the end of the brokers who deal nationwide. Oh, no, that's me. Bummer, dude. <G>

After doing some searching around on the internet, I am about 95% sure it was a bank policy and didn't have anything to do with the government. The lady I talked to was just confused or was trying to smooth things over by implying that it was a national policy and not just some crappy bank policy.
