Iraq was a strictly and repressive secular state -- you do know what that means don't you? It means that Islam was forced on the back burner and religious extremism was repressed while it flourished in Iran and in other countries like Saudi Arabia. Now Iraq is free to follow Iran and become a hotbed for Muslim extremists -- some accomplishment.
