phil - this is the bacfire of globalization. Export deflation and pay less with Dollars. As long as the world still wants Dollars. Another thread directed me to one of the guv's councellors. Thomas Barnett nwc.navy.mil There is an article nwc.navy.mil "IT EXPLAINS WHY WE’RE GOING TO WAR, AND WHY WE’LL KEEP GOING TO WAR." where Barnett specifically describes the need for the US to impose globalization using the military. He lists 19 countries to deal with, because they are handicapping the Gap (the Gap being the gap between globalization and the stoopid countries refusing globalization). As far as I can read, globalization will resume more than ever (export manufacturing to slave countries, no need for US manufacturing anymore sic: Greenspan).
