Good post John. There is hope for you yet. I would leave the tax cut in place but have a war surtax which flat taxed the taxpayers yearly tax thus maintaining perfect progressivity without rolling back lower tax rates which are fueling imo the recovery.

I agree 1000 percent on al quaida.
I would follow some of Kyrosis suggestions for getting iraq moving in the right direction.
I would internationalize iraq as much as possible getting back to what we hoped to do before the french and germans wielded their mighty pens. A slightly different take than you but similar objectives. Mike
