Hi Pezz, Today's Report:

<<sold off another chunk os SRLS @ 6.15 paid 6...Not much left... >> ... well, I would think, there is a good chance that SRLS can zoom up by 30% within 7 trading sessions :0)

I put in my order for 3 mixed cases of the following selected WINPAC 2003 award winning wines, readying for SARS return and my possible staying close to home for a few months, haunting the cheese board and the cold cuts counter at the neighborhood deli, and day after nights of swim, eat, make moolah, drink, reach for scratch, nap, swim, look for coins, reflexology, dig for gold, and sleep.

These could appreciate, I suppose, but I mean to drink them:0)

Jacob's Creek Riesling 2002 - Australia
Preece Sauvignon Blanc 2002 - Australia
Brookland Valley "Verse 1" Chardonnay 2002 - Australia
Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc 2002 - New Zealand
Frog Rock Shiraz 2001 - Australia
Lindemans "Reserve" Cabernet Merlot 1999 - Australia
Casa Rivas Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 - Chile
Geyser Peak Chardonnay 2001 - USA
Tyrrell's Pinot Noir 2002 - Australia
Seaview "Brut" Sparkling 2001 -Australia
Casa Lapostolle Merlot 2002 - Chile
Baron Philippe de Rothschild "Reserva" Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 - Chile

Hello Pezz, Today’s Middle Day Report:

Airlifted a brigade of USD to PT Indorama Synthetics indoexchange.com of Indonesia, WAT-WOT Southeast Asia front, at IDR 500-525/shr (IDR 8,462 = USD 1).

My troop commitment decision is based on possibly flawed field intelligence:

17% of book value, however puffed
12% price to sales, recognized in any convenient fashion
5 times cash flow, in whatever sense
10 times earnings, however defined
Reasonable debt, compared to Argentina
Decent and fair management, for a 3rd world country that could soon break-up into 200 independent island kingdoms

Reinforcement may be needed later on, and occupation cost budget may swell as well. For all I know, there may not even be a plastics factory in reality.

Do you enjoy ambiguity :0)

I think Indorama is a safer bet than INTC, but not as safe as Lumacom.

The business has been crappy and margins lousy for quite a while.

If this market ever makes a decent margin, this stock should explode to the upside.

The question is, how much excess capacity is in the market, is there any new capacity coming online (I doubt it as profits have sucked for a long time in the industry), and when can it get some pricing traction? At this price and with low volume, the beast can explode on the upside. It just needs a catalyst. Just broke through the 1-year moving average last week.

On a separate matter, I am watching Lumacom do its usual thing uk.finance.yahoo.com , up another 90-100% of my original purchase cost of AUD 0.065/shr.

The trajectory is tracking properly, momentum is strong, guidance system OK, and soon, to da moooon :0)

Spaceship Jay's portfolio is at 15.48% rise for the year, or 23+% for actively managed portion.

Did you check this out yet Message 19284569 ?

In the not too distant future, whenever you see NYC skyline in real or cyber space, or in movies, you will think of LUM.AX :0)

Hello Pezz, After Lunch Report:

The entire population of my 27 HK/China shares on Watch List are gushing crimson today, indicating losses of between 1-7%. The fear of SARS is genuine in the market place finance.yahoo.com^HSI&t=3m , and the panic is sincere on the stock exchange. We will see more more genuine sincere emotions in the financial assets in the short term future.

I expect more of the same leading into October. I am fortunate in that I had expected this as of Message 19221008 <<August 18th, 2003>> when I sold all of my HK/China shares.

By the time my wines arrive Message 19288518 , it should be time to start reviewing the Watch List achamchen.com and spot opportunities for quick gains and certain profit.

Crisis, timed like clockwork, and volatility, cycled like the tide, are certainly making it seemingly easy to gain and to not lose.

It should soon be time for a Nasdaq dunking and Dow washout, in time for the Christmas ramp.

Depending on the timing of the US Stock Exchanges dunking and washout, the wave of panic could reinforce the wave of fear in the HK Stock Exchange, possibly triggering natural rhythmic frequency induced collapse.

Speaking of cycles, I am hoping for gold at 388/oz so I can start selling some more paper gold, as well as writing more NEM covered calls.

On another matter, LUM.AX Subject 53628 closed at AUD 0.65 uk.finance.yahoo.com , precisely 10x my purchase cost, as in a ten-bagger.

Alas, any reckoning on LUM.AX must also take into account an addition 14% gain on the currency when translated back to USD :0)

Hello Pezz, Very Early Morning or Very Late Night Report:

I woke up, concerned that I do not have enough gold, so –

(a) Bought another dollop of Newmont Mining at USD 39.40ish
(b) Shorted equal dollop of NEM March 2004 Put strike 35 @ USD 1.90ish
(c) Shorted equal dollop of NEM March 2004 covered Call strike 40 @ USD 3.80

NEM may tank on its own or may tank with the general market, but then will most likely go up. I just wanted more NEM now. Besides, the fiat paper I exchanged for NEM will only be worth less, for sure, and will not likely rise again, for a long time. This is precisely what I like about a bull market, this time in gold shares, because the market eventually, but relatively quickly, corrects my mistakes, and erases bad memories.

Good morning Pezz, Morning Report at the Starting Gate:

(a) I am staying home, to do light work and heavy exercise, on this Thursday before a Friday Dragon Boat Day holiday;

(b) At the gate, at the sound of the bell, ... and they are away, sprint, gallop, and hopefully enduring run ... up another AUD 0.05 (77% of my original purchase cost) uk.finance.yahoo.com on heavy volume (heavy for this pony).

(c) The rest of the day could continue to be good, and so there isn't any urgency to do any work after all :0)

Hello Pezz, Tonight’s Report:

If you remember Annaly (NLY) uk.finance.yahoo.com , I had closed out my Annaly October Put strike 17.5 at this juncture for a profit Message 18995692 <<June 2nd, 2003

I bought back my dollops of Annaly (NLY) October Put strike price 17.5 at USD 0.60/option …>>

Now Annaly, the synthetic bank without the retail operation hassle, has taken a tumble from 21.28. I just:

(a) Bought a dollop of Annaly (NLY) at USD 16.72/share,
(b) Shorted NLY January Put strike 15 for USD 0.60/shr
(c) Shorted NLY January covered Call strike 17.5 for USD 0.60/shr

We must visit old reliable friends every-so-often :0)

Hello Pezz, Late Night/Early Morning Report:

I just finished watching “Enemies At The Gate”. I felt inspired, to grab Newmont Mining through my sniper scope, and pull the trigger, again, and then once more.

I shorted two dollops of NEM December covered Call 40 at USD 2.45/share.

I doubt my precious NEM will be called away, and if they are, so be it.
