<Calling India a "nation of pogroms" is similar to doing the same thing in the US where there are parts of the population like KKK.>

An excellent analogy. Only a small % of the white population, even in the South, were ever active members of the KKK. Only a small group of people did lynchings. But the KKK and lynchings happened, regularly, for a hundred years, because of their passive acceptance by the majority of the white population. We had constitutional amendments which made blacks equal, and gave them the vote, but there was a collective decision by the white majority, from the 1870s till the 1950s, to ignore that part of the Constitution. They simply did nothing, to defend the rights of blacks, and so Jim Crow persisted.

"All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

I know that Gujarat is one of many Indian states. I asked for a confirmation of the information that I found.

Here are my questions.

1) Were 2000 Muslims murdered there?

2) Were the murders organized by the state?

3) Does the present ruling party in India have a history of radical anti-Muslim propaganda?
