Stop for a moment and think and out it. Take all the countries in the middle east and ask two questions: 1) Do they harbor terrorists and, 2) Do they sponsor terrorists. The irony of all of this is that Iraq was just about the ONLY country in the middle east where neither applied -- with one glaring exception. The one glaring exception was that Saddam donated money to Palestinian suicide bombers. The terrorism that threatens us has its roots in radical Islam -- and nobody crushed radical Islam like Saddam, which is why the Shias are so happy to see him gone. Now the Shias can work hand-in-hand with the Iranians -- and in Iran you have a ton of terrorists as well as a State that sponsors terrorism. If you were fighting terrorism in the middle east, Iraq is the last place you would go.
