I don't think either Hillary or Gore are even remotely likely to enter. But a late entry certainly doesn't doom them. As I understand it, there are two issues which have to be addressed: filing deadlines for primaries and fund raising and staff recruitment. Since both Hillary and Gore have no problems with fund raising or staff recruitment right now--just forget the general election for the moment, I assume the only problem is filing deadlines. And I would guess that gets a bit complicated.
