Taxes pay for government services. We were already running a deficit, so any taxes you cut will be financed by further borrowing. I am not in favor of borrowing money so we can give it to rich people who repay the favor to Bush by donating money to his campaign. Cut services if you can, by all means, but don't pretend that adding to the deficit with a Bush-style tax cut is anything other than borrowing from working-stiff Peter so that fat-cat Paul can upgrade his yacht.

Irregardless of what caused the deficit, BUSH failed to cut spending as he promised. However, if no spending was cut, as you confirm, the deficit would be attributed to the TAX CUT.

You can move wherever you like, however, the majority of Americans will not, and will therefore have to pay the interest and principal due every year on the NATIONAL DEBT increases that BUSH has created, and with CLIMBING interest rates, this NUMBER GROWS LARGER every year. As a result, we will pay higher taxes because of this debt burden.
