The difference is that one happened over sixty years ago, and the other is happening today. You better be glad for the sake of your poor Pals that Israelis didn't approve of the Irgun's tactics then or now, or they could really put them to use. The Pals just love these tactics even now. They will have to learn the hard way that they won't work. As Ben Franklin said, "Experience is a hard teacher, but fools will have no other."

That was then, this is now. Your logic justifies IRA nail bombs in the London Tube - because of something Cromwell did centuries earlier...

Islamic insanity today is not justified by Christian insanity 1000 years ago or even Jewish insanity 60 years ago. The real question is - given todays situation - where do we go from here.
