I am sure you are part of a very small minority in Germany at the moment, but I agree with you. In fact English is on its way to becoming the language of the world. It just makes sense to have a common language, and good old CNN and Hollywood are making sure it happens. When we took over Iraq, the hottest product became American Movie DVDs and DVD machines.

When I was in Germany in 92, everyone spoke English except the older people and immigrants. I barely had to speak a word of German, except to senior citizens and Turks. Was kinda disappointing. :/
