I'm much happier with us fighting the terrorists over there than fighting them over here.

I have noticed a new tendency from the right along this line of rationalization...the WMD, nuke reconstitution and AlQueda justifications having dominoed and been so thoroughly discredited....it's the casus belli of the moment.

Bald Eagle, before you get too giddy with happiness that we're "fighting the terrorists over there [rather] than fighting them over here," ask yourself this question; "Are we fighting pre-Iraqi invasion terrorists or are they terrorists that were largely created by our invasion and occupation of Iraq?"

If the answer is that they are primarily people that are responding to the Iraqi invasion and occupation, then what's to be happy about? We wouldn't have had to fight "them over here" and our men and women are dying, our wealth is evaporating and where does it end?
