Well, she got several months severance pay, now she gets about $1000 a month unemployment money. We refinanced the house, she does a lot of jobs around the house and our boat that otherwise we might have had to pay to get done, plus she cooks more so we save on eating out. She's not even really looking currently, except for what you have to do to satisfy unemployment money requirements. And, oh yes, she's much less stressed out :-) Only downside is we aren't saving as much as we were. Need any more?
