Thank you for an excellent post. In Egypt and many other countries, including Saudi Arabia, there is no question that there is an immense internal threat from terrorism and they are very worried about Islamic revolution. Iran is the only country that has no such worry -- for obvious reasons. Iran would be "happy" to see its revolution exported. But the fact remains that radical Islam has indeed done much better OUTSIDE Iraq than inside Iraq. Pakistan is a case in point, and most certainly Saudi Arabia as well. In Saddam's entire career there was a common thread -- the secular state.
