Paul, Ivanhoe, I don't feel it: can't put a price on it.
You know: make your own DD and lose your money all by yourself. <g>
Anyway, time for me to diversify.
Looking at AAUK and BHP (I know, no ten baggers there <g>) and Canadian NGs. (But don't know where to start my DD <ng>).
Elephants as Inco, Falconbridge, Noranda doing well today.
Also watching Altair (nasdaq: ALTI): doubled in May, so there must be somethin' brewing. altairnano.com
WTH needs titanium?

Re: IVN, here is the Calandra newsletter Message 19291446
Word is Ivanhoe Mines is close to raising as much as $150 million via the sale of a Myanmar copper project, in which it has a 50 percent stake, to a China-based investment house. Ivanhoe Mines also has plans to spin off to shareholders at least two other units, one an iron-ore operation in Australia and another a conglomeration of Korea silver interests and related Mongolia property rights.

So far, Friedland[...]wouldn't sell the project if the shares were triple and even quadruple their $7 Canadian stock price.

.....

If, that is, Friedland can convince the financial markets that his company will raise the $1 billion or more needed to see its Oyu Tolgoi project developed to a producing mine.

So, a private placement can be expected for a price which then would be a bottom. IMO.

<<there may be more fuel on the fire before long>>

That is my expectation too.

<<Finally, the paperwork to get on a US exchange is in progress>>

Hope it is AMEX and not NASDAQ....
