Politically, I believe taxes must be cut first
and then services. Politicians will not cut
services unless there is the pressure of tax cuts.
It's like a drug addict who keeps saying that
all he needs is "one last hit", and then he
will be able to quit. Don't believe it!

Why do you keep harping on this "super-rich"
nonsense? I have already pointed out that they
received less of a tax cut (proportionally) than
the middle-class received.

In my opinion, it is unhealthy and unstable for
the economy to depend so heavily on the "super-rich"
anyway. I think the only viable solution is a flat
tax enforced by a constitutional amendment. That will
force everyone to pay an equal fair share, and it
will force politicians to live within the available
tax revenue.
