We had all sorts of reasons to want him out.

But you need to keep in mind that the primary justifications offered the American public were the imminent threat posed by the hypothesized presence of wmds and the hypothesized connections with Al Q. Both of which, we now see, were erroneous. And the Bush administration cherry picked in the intelligence in the first to find the pieces that agreed with their already existent conclusions, a definite no-no. And, in the second, simply had no serious evidence. Just threw it out there for the public. The Air Force Intelligence objections to the drones argument that was revealed today is just one more bit of damning evidence.

Let me know when you think we've rehashed this rehash enough for your liking. We are certainly contributing to thread bloat since none of this is new for either of us. And we are definitely not about to persuade one another of squat.
