yes if you don't think social security is actually a tax and is unlikely to survive past the baby boom. If you think that, as I do, then flat taxes without SS will likely LOWER taxes for the poor from today's rates.

A lot of tax issues can be solved if we just dump SS and only keep it alive for the elderly poor, and kill the bushonomic aggressive defense spending.
