MSI, I heard Krugman interviewed by Tim Russet on Sunday. I certainly intend to read the book. Yes, there is an element of fiscal irresponsibility which is unprecedented in American History. Raising the national debt to a level equal to the GDP at a time we are facing the retirement of the boomers poses a huge threat to our standard of living.
