I wasn't recommending dump soc sec.. I met to show there is a lot more of the program than elderly... many widows get income for each child until he 18... if we feel a widow does need some help to feed and educate the family.. what is alternative.. fed income tax...
disability income... add it to worker compensation? surely they will send jobs out of the country..

Lizzie, you could never convince Republicans to lower the payroll tax. They love the payroll tax. Reagan was President when the payroll tax was raised to its present leve. Reagan supported it. The payroll tax generates a huge budget surplus which is then used to fund other government programs. It is a very regressive tax. That is why Republicans love it.
