<<<what would people be buying as the dollar gets relentlessly hammered?

i thought this theory was that people would even be selling gold to buy food (or paying other expenses or servicing debt)...

The funny part is (funny as in curious), the $200 call was almost bang on IF he would have seen the bottom at $252. he simply could have stated it was near enough. When it was $252 I recall thinking- why wait? Juniors were already 10% or less of former values, so I jumped in with both feet (luckily guys like Claude and Russ helped tell me where to jump!!).

Pretcher definitely believes that deflation wreaks havoc on everything. I am more in the camp of Gold reacts well to any financial stress - inflation or deflation.
