touchy subject for me -- every update we have where I work, I have to listen to the CEO put on his long face about how healthcare costs are going up and he has to control costs -- yada, yada, yada -- I quit going. Cut my benefits regularly -- just tell me what the deal is without telling me how little they make up the overall costs here -- they really are nothing compared to the operating costs of our plants -- something I am keenly aware of ...

spin like we see from the gubmnt, from WS ... on and on.

I'm not sure what the answer is to healthcare -- just have sneaking suspiscion that more government ain't the answer. First things first -- let's get the heck out of Iraq -- kill the next unPatriotic act and elect someone who won't spend our grandkids money so he can land on aircraft carriers and look "presidential."

When an uninsured person goes to ER and get health care does the hospital not bill him ? What happens if he has some assets and probably a job but just did not take health insurance ? Do the collection agencies come after his assets or garnish his wages based on a payment plan ?

Or is the cost just absorbed by other insurers ?
