Hi Jay, I will not fully trust any US corporation (not sure about other countries) As posted to some one else there can be OTC gold derivatives that NEM sold and are not reported in financial statements except possible in the footnotes. Second if real calamity arrives they will close the stock exchange ,,,,,, and then ??? and after all we are in the real world and accidents do happen ..... resulting in large lawsuit etc.
