I've read your enough of your economic theories to have some feel for it....it is very clear to me that you have little foundation built on history of events following times of financial mania and bubbles....

We have only recently came out of a period of greed and foolishness that makes those who traded houses for a fricking single seed during the tulip craze look reasonable....

Given financial history and events of 9/11, a case could be made that things are not too bad....if that is not so in your particular case, I am sorry....but funneling more cash through an already bloated bureaucracy is surely not the answer....

the clinton surplus was a mirage...

having said that, i remember i used to discuss politics with a co-worker... he would sit there as i would bash clinton over just about everything... and he was a huge clinton fan... at some point he would just say how great clinton was and we would agree to disagree... anyway, i told him though during the 2000 campaign, 'as bad as i might think clinton is... when this election (between gore and bush) is over and we're in the next term... we're going to be wishing for the good old days of clinton'... i was right about that...

but to blame this current economic mess on 'one' party or the 'other'... well 'both' parties are to blame...

"worse job loss since Hoover"

Question for you. When I hear Democrats in California saying that they will fix the California economy by spending more on the environment and health care I wonder what am I missing. How will spending more on health care fix the problems of California? Do you realize that small business employs about 78 % of Californians and yet Davis is going to sign a bill that will force many of these companies out of the state. How can you offer health care when daily floods of ignorant peasants who cannot read or write their own language flood across the border.
I agree that Bush is doing a lousy job. However that is because he has caved in and abandoned fiscal responsibility.
Do you believe that you should be the mother of all Mexicans and Africans and other lost peoples of the world? DO you have a choice in the matter? Liberals said we should have smaller families and that is what the white population has done here and throughout the world. Sadly however you then demand that we become the mommy and daddy for the other groups that have 4 5 6 7 and 8 children.

In my mind the left is never about the economy and always about gaining control of the world. Bill CLinton had the great fortune of the Internet boom occurring during his presidency. That was like having Michael Jordan with the Bulls. Any coach was going to win. To be honest no president Republican or Democrat is going to make or sell routers or phones.
Do you have any plans for the ignorant masses. Are we to give them all health care?

Personally I think we should have large communes where those people who cannot function go and live. There they can receive food and shelter but they give up some freedom. You cant go forwards handing out checks to people and expect to survive.
The future demands that some kind of thought be given as to how to economically care for the poor. You can't do it on the backs of the working class. You can't have a person on welfare making more than a worker and that is the case today. You also cannot continue to pay 100K plus for janitors and other unskilled labor workers simply because the government can confiscate wealth from those who produce it. That is a formula for disaster.

Yes we are losing jobs and the problem is the burden of government and your leftist legal system. It is a tragedy when a nation produces 50 lawyers to every engineer. As a nation we believe that it is beneath our dignity to work for just food and shelter. Tell that to the people of the China or the rest of the world.
Signing Kyoto will not stop the loss of jobs. Nor will health care. The companies will send even more work to nations who don't give a damn about the environment and don't give a rats ass about health care. You want health care go on a diet and exercise that is the number one prescription
