that clown Rep English rattled sabres with China
he mentioned...

- mercantile trade practices
- extortion
- 40% tariff
- artificial regime (yuan)
- Chinese consumer losers

I have said the USA will find three boogeymen to blame
1. Chinese
2. Islamic oil producers
3. FOREX currency traders

chalk up item #1, begun now to heat up
soon, US leaders will hear of pressure placed by China on capital flows, credit supply
WE ARE THE BEGGARS, but havent yet figured that out

imagine banging on a loan shark's home front door and making strong demands
he would cut your legs off, break your nose, and cut you down
just out of sport

THE USA IS ABOUT TO BE CUT DOWN

Well Jay I do not know what to say at this point,. Smart politicians are rare and even those must satisfy their electorate.

SO it is possible that it is all for show before election. wOnder how many of those appearing on CNBC must be re-elected.

The issue with China is an issue but I think China was singled out of convenience and name recognition. Bangladesh, Thailand or Pakistan do not ring so familiar as China ....... oops Thailand has a floating exchange.

As to teh US trade deficit it is a serious issue as are the loss of jobs ...... if not to China then to India etc.

2 years ago I wrote about this issue and had some exchange with Heinz
