Well Jay I do not know what to say at this point,. Smart politicians are rare and even those must satisfy their electorate. SO it is possible that it is all for show before election. wOnder how many of those appearing on CNBC must be re-elected. The issue with China is an issue but I think China was singled out of convenience and name recognition. Bangladesh, Thailand or Pakistan do not ring so familiar as China ....... oops Thailand has a floating exchange. As to teh US trade deficit it is a serious issue as are the loss of jobs ...... if not to China then to India etc. 2 years ago I wrote about this issue and had some exchange with Heinz
