You miss the point. Our gov't is supporting the extra-legal world authorities. As bad as many of the things our Government does are, they would be much worse with other types of organizations The Bush administration, like the Clinton's, is rapacious in destroying other countries' sovereignty. There is no difference, except Bush is, if anything, much worse: People close to the Bush administration doubt that the overall ban will be lifted any time soon. "Promises, promises. We've heard it all before," one person said. The United States earlier this year filed a complaint against the European Union's moratorium on genetically altered organisms with the World Trade Organization.
