We should run deficits in time of war and slow economic growth. BUT, we should run those deficits specifically for the purpose of eliminating taxes on capital formation.

In better times, we should NEVER run a surplus, and any measured surplus should be immediately returned to the citizens from which is has been stolen, in proportion to the amount stolen.

We should use term limits and diligence to PURGE any elected officials who can't get around the concept that IT'S NOT WASHINGTON'S MONEY.

And the same should apply to the states, as the people of California are proving, even as I post...
