Reassuring, to the extent that the numbers can be relied upon. Polls in developing countries, especially those with a record of aggressive action against people holding unpopular opinions, often give you little more than a scientific sampling of what the respondents think the questioner wanted to hear. I wonder how many of the respondents were confident that their answers would be kept confidential? Paranoia is a legacy common in former police states. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and the only evidence that will mean much is effective community cooperation against terrorism. I don't think there's been a whole lot of that.
