When Clinton was elected I wasn't all that thrilled. I didn't really care. Even in 96 I don't even remember voting, although I'm sure I preferred Clinton over Dole. But in retrospect I give Clinton credit for a great period for the US. I started to distrust Bush when he appointed Snow. It was the first sign of Cronyism. Since then it has gotten worse with Bush. Powell has been completely muzzled in this WH. Why because he doesn't share the neocon imperialist agenda which will bankrupt our country morally and fiscally if it is allowed to continue. In Clinton's cabinet there was more room for dissenting voices.
