You know what I was just thinking? This thread has been dead for a long time. But I posted just one thing about options and boy did it pick up again!

LOL. Maybe we should rename this the Cisco options thread, because that is the only topic that's of sufficient interest to get people debating again. Take care everyone. :)

While that is possible, note that California unemployment isn't too different than the national rate. California is at 6.6% as of last month versus 6.1% overall.

Most notable to the current discussion is that overall unemployment has risen much faster than California unemployment, suggesting that this isn't just a CA problem. California unemployment bottomed out at 4.7%, in Dec '00 through Feb '01. US unemployment bottomed out 3.8%, in April of 2000. When California's rate bottomed, the US rate was still well below California, at 3.9%.
