IBD: National Outlook Index fall to 49.5 - lowest since Bush took office.
Bush approval drops to 52%

Yesterday, IBD reported that Bush job approval sank to 52%. Today, it reports that the its National Outlook Index, a measure of how Americans feel about their country, fell to 49.5, the lowest since Bush took office, when IBD initially launched the poll.

Looks more and more like the Smirking Chimp is going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
