<couldn't have anything to do with VALUATIONS could it? >

No. That theory has been discredited.

Multi day pullbacks are just successive bad rolls of the dice. To be followed by many good rolls in a row. Keep rolling til you crap out.......

RE: "Gee, we've had massive terrorism that the past three month with daily body counts from Iraq - yet the market has been in a moon shot. A bear market couldn't have anything to do with VALUATIONS could it?"

Most of the "experts" who talk about "VALUATIONS" use historical data and simple arithmetic to obscure the fact that they have absolutely no understanding of what is happening in the economy and, specifically, the technology sector.

The bear will not be caused by low level casualties in Iraq, but by high level $$$ wasted there. That takes time and the hope, now, is that it will be limited.
