In the debate between Gore and Bush in the campaign, Bush said he was in favor of peace keeping but not nation building. Of course, he is now engaged in the mother of all nation building projects in Iraq as well as Afghanistan.

So his statement was made way prior to 9-11.

Ken, 9-11 forever changed our entire world.

Bush promised to go after anybody associated with terrorists. I'm damn glad we have a President who follows through.
