It's very good- I am reading excerpts now. He seems unusually candid. I'll post you the link. I'm hoping HE says when he and Osama decided to run their businesses together.

It is a really interesting read. I highly recommend it. What a scary guy.

"In a special chapter called "Afghanistan: Emigration and
Preparation", the Al-Jihad Organization leader talks about the causes
that led fundamentalists in general, but particularly the members of
Al-Jihad Organization, to join the war in Afghanistan. He also outlines
the premises from which Al-Jihad members proceeded when, in cooperation
with Bin Ladin, they formed "The Global Front for Fighting Jews and
Crusaders" in 1998. Afterwards they directed their operations against US
targets. "

You can apparently read some excerpts from Zawahiri's book on the FAS site:

Zawahiri is the brains behind Al-Qaeda.. Always has been.

And I opine that given his increasing presence on any video or audio tapes being released, militant followers are being prepared for his eventual succession (if that has not already occurred).
