RE: "I was and have been very bullish on this sector about what seems like 100% pricewise ago."

I have been very bullish on only a small group from this sector (semis, semi-equips, technology).

100% is volatility about the bottom. Is that a big price to pay for the demise of "double dip" and "secular bear"?

I have posted that my sell signals will be based on revenue and earnings peaks for the semi-equip cycle and over discounting of the semis' long term revenue and earnings growth rates.

I have seen no reliable data on revenue and earnings growth for semis or semi-equips. I have seen a lot of use of the word "cycle", but little use of the words "bubble aftermath". The former is general and useless, while the latter is specific, current, and useful.

You are quantitatively oriented. I am, too. You find much to be incredulous about. I do, too. You will throw the baby out with the bath wash. I focus on the baby and expect the "bath wash" to get its comeuppance, one company at a time.
