The Canadian organ donation rate is 13.7 donors per million. That is one half the US rate. Many people simply can not find kidneys in Canada. This is one area where the procedure itself is not the main limitation to service availablity comparing Canada and the US. there are some like cardiac catheterization that do show differences. Remember thought hat they are spending 1000 less per capita than we are. GIve them that 1000 bucks and those differences would be much less. Big Pharma? have no idea.
