Searle, I am just watching this character on CNBC where the two clowns, er moderators, Kudlow & Cramer are fawning all over him. I think it is Grosso. And another example of a system gone bonkers, immoral without any shame while millions of investors in the NYSE lost their shirts, this little ringer pulls down such a huge salary and bonuses.

All by himself, he succeeded in quickly starting up the exchange within a few days after 911, thereby saving the country billions of dollars. That in essence is what Kudlow the clown was saying.

How come they call it compensation while for the rest of the grunts its salary or wages?

They just don't get it. Like I said, the system is rotten. Rotten at the top, and the underlings are jealous and scheming to get some of the free gravy too. Standards are always set at the top.

It is a problem that is part of the reason we are floundering wages are unreasonable. I suppose i could say he did a great job of getting companies from other nations to list and i suppose his compensation explains why it is so important we get other nations to use our exchange. This is all said with tongue in cheek.

Wages have escalated too much. I tried to figure out what caused what. I think it was our system some how the fellow that owned a business got less in wages than the employee who sued for mental stress. One retired and left the other with a another new head ache of how to avoid that type of suit. Figures became totally unrealistic which of course added to the problem of bottom line profit. At the end of all of this there is a product that has competition and products are normally the least cost of the operation. We wonder why we aren't competitive in the world market?

Accounting got creative to adjust for inflation. Grasso proves this as his compensation apparently is justified and he represents our market system. Good example of how we as a nation have wage inflation that is out of control.

As we the middle man begins to move to Asia
The budget deficit will increase.
What no one has figures out yet is the top is not immune. The limited group of heavy hitters are not going to strike enough home runs to support the IRS.
