"The controls on Red Lake Ore have been well understood since 1930.

Do you think that geologists have learned more about Red Lake gold deposits since Goldcorp discovered their high grade zone in 1995 than they knew in 1930?

Do you think that Placer Dome have learned anything new since discover of their DC zone at the Campbell mine?

"They should drill, it is possibly a mine. Drilling cheap compared to 1934. Then when they have 500,000 ounces, sell it for 25 million plus a royalty on everything exceeding that per ton per day depending on grade. Drilling would only cost about 2.5 million."

Eric, you have obviously missed the point of the post(s) that you are responding to. Placer Dome has the option to drill Redaurum and they have already drilled at least four holes. The best results from the Madsen property drilling were from drill pads set up right on the Madsen/Redaurum border. In response to the drill results Placer has built an all weather road right through Redaurum and will make swiss cheese out of it. The whole coridor from the Madsen mine through the Redaurum property and on to Wolfden's properties is very likely to produce ore and high grade ore.
