Bush has increased spending dramatically and also cut taxes, especially for the rich, dramatically. You cannot do both and fight wars at the same time. What happens? Trillions in deficits which erode America's liquidity and financial security. Kerry's deficits would be temporary and stimulative. Bush's are permanent. Therein lies the big difference. Also a matter of priorities. Massive corporate welfare, allowing the big fat cats off easy on taxes and huge big ticket defense spending like new generations of nuclear missiles isn't what this country needs. All of that Bush has delivered. What you have to do is go back to the Clinton economic theories. They have been proven to work.
