guess W couldn't force Powell to make a FOOL out of himself AGAIN!
President Bush will address the United Nations General
Assembly on September 23, White House spokesman Scott McClellan announced in
a written statement. The White House is now working on building diplomatic support
for a new U.N. resolution that aims to broaden international cooperation for rebuilding
Iraq. In addition to the speech, McClellan said Bush "looks forward" to participating in
the General Assembly September 23-24 and will hold meetings with "a number of
world leaders," whom the spokesman did not identify.
