Earlie, the corporate PC replacement cycle may have in fact been happening. The thing is that nobody makes money off it. Companies are gradually replacing old $1500 PCs with $500 ones. DELL recently advertised $600 PC (price included 15" flat panel monitor) and $700 laptop.

Any guesses about coming X-mas? Last year the refi boom was in Sept-Oct, so the people received their money right before X-mas.
